Mason - William Everett

William Everett Mason, 69 years old, died Saturday at 10:50 p.m. at his home five miles north of Crawfordsville. He had been ill 8 months with Bright's disease. A life-long farmer, Mr. Mason was born March 15, 1891, near Mt. Tabor the son of Thomas L. and Eliza McCormack Mason. On Sept 24, 1913, he was married to Lula Swank who survives him. Survivors in addition to the widow include a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Davis, Crawfordsville; a son, Robert Dale Mason, also of Crawfordsville; four sisters: Mrs. Stella Fyffe; Mrs. Elva Jackson and Mrs. Mae Timmons all of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Helen Reed of Danville, Ill; a brother, Marion Mason, Marion (sic) and two grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Laura Wilkinson preceded him in death Nov 10, 1959. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Ora McDaniel of Advance at 3:30 p.m. (CDT) Tuesday at the Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the residence until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. -- thanks steve m :)
